Apprenticeship and Training Act The Apprenticeship and Training Act establishes policies and procedures to promote equality of opportunity in apprenticeship programs registered with the Apprenticeship and Training Council. These policies and procedures apply to: • recruitment and selection of apprentices • conditions of employment and training during apprenticeship • review of apprenticeship programs • registering apprenticeship programs • de-registering non-complying apprenticeship programs
